Dorot Farm is heavily involved in the entire process:
- Packing house
- Port where goods are released
- Ocean freights where goods are transported
- Delivery to the customers
Throughout this process we utilize advanced technology refrigerated containers with temperature control.
We use the main international shipping lines to carry our products including MSC, Maersk, Zim, etc.

1. Growing the Carrots
Picking out the best soil for carrot growth and ensuring the fields are fit for the
specific variety the market demands. Cultivating a climate that will support the
quality of the products throughout the harvesting process in a fully automated
manner.
2. Post-Harvesting
Carrots are taken to Dorot Farm’s highly certified (hyperlink certifications)
packing houses that meet world-wide standards. There, the carrots go into
washing, hydro-cooling and optic sorting machinary to ensure food safety before
the carrots are automatically pacakged. All this, with no human contact!
3. Shipping
After a thorough inspection that proves the carrots exceed the standards, they are
loaded onto refrigerated containers and taken to the ports. The containers are
temperature monitored and travel world-wide.
4. Distribution
BDA/Dorot Farm works with its transportation companies to take care of port to
port logistics. The company releases the goods from its destination to the
customers and ensures that the quality carrots arrive timely and safely.
